S/T 7", Touche Amore
imageAccording to the press release Touche Amore are 'five dudes, eight songs, fourteen minutes--one record. Touche Amore's self-titled debut release is pure, uncontaminated, unrelenting hardcore from Los Angeles, on 7-inch vinyl. Three color options. For fans of American Nightmare, Majority Rule, Orchid and Curl Up And Die'. I couldn't have set the scene better myself.

No Sleep Recs are doing good things in the US and Touche Amore will cement the label's rep that bit more. A brooding hardcore band, the band are aggressive and hard-hitting without ever really putting their foot to the floor. They tend to build things up and explode, building up the tension, rather than hitting the floor running. 'Changing Lanes' is one of the best songs here. They do remind me of American Nightmare a little bit so if that's the standard of music you set then check this band out.
