Want, 3oh!3
imageIs this a wind-up? Do kids actually like this stuff? The thing is, if you want to be a goofy pop band with synths you have to a) be funny, b) have good beats and c) write catchy tunes. 3oh!3 don't do any of these. Writing about Helen Keller is a joke 15 years old. The beats sound like they're ripped from Tomy's 'my first beat-maker'. Cobra Starship aren't my thing but they do this kind of thing so, so, so much better because it's dance-able. It's singalong-able. It's tongue in cheek. 3oh!3 aren't any of those things. It's just random samples and beats and some forgettable lyrics thrown in over the top. There's no cohension. There's nothing memorable at all.

Sticking a fork in my eye and damaging my retina beyond repair, then eating the remains would be a much more enjoyable experience than listening to this shit ever again.
