This Is Noise EP, Rise Against
imageA digital-only EP of odds and sods described as a 'goodie bag' for fans to grab hold of between albums, this 7-track collection of b-sides, acoustic efforts and live tracks is a decent EP for fans, but doesn't really showcase Rise Against at their best. With three live tracks, two of which were recorded on the 2006 Warped Tour, an acoustic song and three full band studio efforts, there's enough here for completists to get excited. 'Minor Threat' is a fast and frenetic cover and I'm sure fans will enjoy the live take of 'State of the Union'. But those new to the band would be much better off checking out their albums before they made a start on this.
