Every Second Counts, Plain White Tees
imageIf you've not heard Plain White Ts yet, chances are you're living under a rock. For some unknown reason, the horrendously bland 'Hey There Delilah' has hugged the top of the pop charts for weeks on end. It's about the 18th time the band have released the song so I guess it was going to be a hit eventually. Anyway, this record is absolute, complete drivel. Radio-rock in places, gunning-for-the-charts singles like 'Delilah' aplenty, at times this record resorts to purile Blink 182-wannabe lyrics with sappy pop-punk guitars in a bid to liven up the pace. It's not particularly catchy or credible, mind, and I'm not sure how those who bought this record on the back of the single will be able to get any kind of major listening from it. Talk about one hit wonders...
