Lawful Civil Rights, The Yorkshire Rats
There's a distinctive Rancid-esque vibe to this Ponetfract mob, who also count Dropkick Murphys and Dead Pets as influences. And to be fair, on the basis of this 7-inch, those bands are bang on in the soundalike stakes. The title track has a rough and ready punk edge, yet maintains that Rancid-esque knack of keeping a catchy chorus - fists in the air, of course, yet melodic enough to sing every word back to the band as they undoubtedly belt it out on stage. If you're a fan of any of the bands mentioned, then these guys are the new punks on the block.
