Westmoor unveil video for ‘The Storm’

By Aaron Lohan

We’re premiering the new video for Italian post hardcore/alt rockers Westmoor here at Punktastic.

The band had the following to say about the song’s themes:

“‘The Storm’ is a song inspired by those tough moments that each and every one of us inevitably encounters during the course of life. One often feels trapped and powerless in these situations, twisted and turned upside down as if in the midst of a violent and reckless storm. We find ourselves overthinking, which can even lead to questioning who we truly are as individuals. We might not realise that this tormented journey can only come to an end through consciousness; there are no answers, just acceptance of events, of our own limitations and contradictions. No matter how harsh the storm could be, it will come to an end at some point, leaving peace and quiet after itself.”

‘The Storm’ is taken from Westmoor’s latest EP, ‘Braindrops’, which was released earlier this year via This Is Core. They will also be playing the following UK shows.
