Fresh embrace personal growth in new song, ‘No Big Deal’

We at Punktastic are proud to unveil ‘No Big Deal’, the brand new single from London trio Fresh.

Earlier this year we chose this charming band as one of our ones to watch in 2017. Based on the material they’ve been releasing from their upcoming debut self-titled album, including the bittersweet anthems ‘Fuck My Life’ and ‘I’ll Be Back’, they are certainly living up to that hype. With this new single, the indie punks deliver a song that teems with summery carefree melodies, which contrast with an underlying sentimental sorrow for leaving things behind. This is remedied by a willingness to embrace the ever changing future for positive personal growth.

“It is about missing a certain time in your life, explains drummer Daniel Goldberg, “but knowing that things have changed for a reason and that it was necessary to make those changes. Growing up sucks, and nostalgia is a double-edged sword.”

‘No Big Deal’ is taken from Fresh’s upcoming debut self-titled album, which will be released this Friday 18th August via Specialist Subject Records. The band will also be playing the following UK shows.
