Long Division festival is coming up on June 2nd, we spoke to Bearfoot Beware's guitarist Tom Bradley about his top 5 bands to catch this year.

Galaxians
Leeds’ very own undisputed gods of funk, Galaxians have been firm favorites of ours now from their start. It will get even the stiffest of musos shaking their hips. They’re great because the energy that surrounds their music genuinely makes you forget that you have that ‘cool’ facade to maintain at gigs.

ZoZo
Fellow CHUNK home-owners Zozo are a great band for everyone. Organised chaos with blended with infectious hooks. Their new songs are sounding great and blew us away at our album launch last month.

The Surfing Magazines
Containing members of the Wave Pictures who we shared a stage with up in a forest glade in Cumbria a few years back. I remember talking to the guitarist after and sharing a mutual love for the band Television and I think that’s all people really need to know when asking if they’re good.

The Lovely Eggs
Insanely fun DIY garage pop duo from Lancaster full of attitude and who don’t seem to take themselves too seriously. The kinda band I want to be in when I grow up.

Shatner’s Bassoon
Not just the best band name in the UK but also a fine example of music that I like listening too but have no concept of how it’s done. I think it’s jazz but don’t know enough about jazz to say that. Probably is. Anyway It’s class.

Bearfoot Beware’s album ‘Sea Magnolia’ is out now on Superstar Destroyer Records and tickets to the festival are available here.
