The track is from the band’s upcoming EP ‘Your Mom’s Favorite Band’ which is their third record and their first since trimming down from a trio to a two-piece.
Vocalist/guitarist Juan Alvarez wrote and recorded everything on the record himself and says that the ‘Dirty Room’ single is quite simply about missing someone. “This song is basically about missing someone, whether it be a break-up or death. It’s all about you want to interpret it, but in the video, a guy breaks up with his girlfriend and misses her. He has flashbacks every time he goes somewhere they use to hang.”
