Edinburgh math pop/noise rockers Vasquez have announced that they will be reforming for two one off shows next month in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
This will be their first live performances since their split in 2014. The band are doing the shows will help to raise funds for a life saving cancer treatment for Dan Wild-Beesley, that isn’t performed by the NHS. In relation to this, the band put up a compilation of rare demos, b-sides and live tracks back in August to also aid this cause. This can be purchased on bandcamp.
They will be joined at both shows by fellow Edinburgh peers Britney. Earlier this year the trio release their new single ‘Welcome to Britney (Your Gateway to Pleasure)’ for PWYW download on bandcamp. It provides a taste of their upcoming follow up to 2016 album ‘Britn3y’ on Superstar Destroyer Records and Beef Wellington Enterprises.
