The Jesus Lizard reform again

By Aaron Lohan

The Jesus Lizard have recently confirmed that they have reunited once again.

So far they’ve announced US tour dates in December, their first in eight years. As for UK/European tour dates? We’ll see. New music? Possibly.

The influential Texan noise/post hardcore band were primarily active from 1987 to 1999, releasing six albums and known for their ecstatic live shows. Four of those records were produced by Shellac’s Steve Albini. The band did play a few reunion dates from 2008 to 2010 to coincide with the reissues of their first four albums on Touch and Go Records. They were due to play ATP Fest in Australia in 2013, but cancelled due to personal reasons.
