New York alt rockers Chavez have announced a new EP, entitled ‘Cockfighters’, their first release in twenty years.
Formed in 1993, the band’s last record was 1996’s ‘Ride the Fader’. Although they never officially broke up after this record, the group have been inactive for quite some time, apart from playing a few shows from 1999 to 2006.
The new record is due for release on the 13th January 2017 via Matador Records. You can hear the EP’s first single, ‘The Bully Boys’, below.
