Much like any you punk band, As The Sun Sleeps enjoy a drink. The stories that arise from the consequences of a heavy night have fuelled their new single, ‘Beering’, which we are bringing you the video for below.
“This song is about drinking too much, too often and making bad decisions,” say the band of the video. “The chorus tries to convey that battle in your head the morning after when you’re convincing yourself you’ll never drink again, but inevitably the following weekend your right back at it. The verses are about our stories in those inebriated situations that we’re not particularly proud of.”
“We shot the video with a very minimal budget, we have super talented friends who we owe the world to,” they continue. “The most money was spent on the pillows we trashed at the end, we built the fort in Shrimp’s living room (our drummer), it took about 3 hours to clear up all the feathers afterwards, we’re still finding them in our bed sheets and cushions now!”
The track is taken from their new EP, ‘As Good As Gold’, which is released on January 20th.
