Stream The New Split From Nervous Passenger and The Normal Years

By Maryam Hassan

Good Afternoon! Thursday is always a drag right? The weekend is so close you can taste it but you still have to get through the rest of today and most of tomorrow before that sweet sweet Friday night can begin. Well we can help the time go faster with this! The new split EP from Nervous Passenger and The Normal Years! Listen to it below:

Stephan from Nervous Passenger had this to say about their side of the split: “‘The Slacker’s Lament’ is a big long song tackling topics such as being super in love, really hungover, and hating your job and life. But at the end of the song cool stuff happens and then life doesn’t suck and everything is ok. Both sides of the split were recorded and mixed by NP guitarist Johnny Wilson, and it was mastered by Greg Obis from Yeesh. It was put out by Dan Wallach/Artistic Integrity Records. It was super fun to write and record and we can’t wait to play it live! PS The Normal Years is my other band I play drums in, and we have been pretty dormant but have plans for shows and more recordings this year.”

Out tomorrow on Artistic Integrity Records you can grab a copy over here. If you’re in Chicago you can go to the release show tomorrow at The Auxiliary Art Centre (we’ll see you there) where not only is this being released but also Nervous Passenger are releasing a hot sauce they made in collaboration with the kinds of spice Soothsayer Hot Sauce which you can eat on a giant sandwich! What more could you ask for? All details are here.
