Stream the new Six Time Champion track

“The writing for this song actually started just over a year ago in the run up to recording our last EP,” explain Brighton based pop-punk five-piece Six Time Champion about new track, ‘Let Me In’.

“As we already had the tracks set for that release it got forgotten about until early this year. Once we’d finished writing it, we all felt that it was the strongest song we’d written as a band to date, so instead of it sitting there until the next release we booked in a few days with John Mitchell (Enter Shikari, Lower Than Atlantis, Architects) to get it laid down,” they continue.

‘Let Me In’ precedes the band’s forthcoming UK tour, and marks the band’s most concise sound to date. Utilising an unrelenting pop-punk formula, the track carries an immediacy the band have been successfully hinting at in previous releases.

“We’re really happy with how the song came out and we feel we’ve set ourselves a bar in terms of writing for the next record. This song is definitely the start of the next chapter for Six Time Champion,” they conclude.
