Knifey find themselves after loss with their debut single, ‘Sophie’

By Glen Bushell

While their debut single may have been born from the void after heartbreak, Canadian surf-rock band, Knifey, still manage to create an air of optimism with their music. ‘Sophie’ is the perfect introduction to the bands charming music, which we are excited to premiere today.

“From the depths of breakup despair, ‘Sophie’ is a voice calling out for escape,” say the band of the track. “Where better to run than the sandy coasts of Southern California? Full of heartbreak and longing, our debut single is a window into the desperation of finding oneself again after losing love.”

You can find out more about Knifey over at their Facebook page.
