The third instalment of the Scottish Indie Sampler series is due for release on February 15 and we’re giving you an exclusive listen to opening track ‘No One’ by Sulka. As with previous volumes, six of Scotland’s DIY/independent labels have selected three tracks each and ‘Vol.3’ is courtesy of GoldMold, Winning Sperm Party, OVA MATA, Olive Grove, Lost Map and LP Records.
Sulka, a.k.a Lukas Clasen, had this to say about his track: “‘No One’ is just a fun three-chord that I wrote by looping the rhythm guitar part over and over and jamming melodies over the top. The lyrics are pretty much about the feeling of not knowing who you are sometimes. I wrote and recorded it over a couple of days in my flat.”
