First play of ‘Marks The Spot’, the debut track from Pet Grief

By Glen Bushell

This Friday, Boston-based label, Disposable America, will release their second compilation, ‘Special Interest.’ As well as featuring new and unreleased music from Infinity Girl, Horse Jumper of Love, Soft Fangs, and more, all proceeds from the sale of the compilation will go to the Pulse Tragedy Relief Fund, an organisation set up to support those affected by the tragic terrorist attack at Orlando’s Pulse nightclub that took place last month.

Today we are bringing you an exclusive play of the new track from London-based band, Pet Grief, who make their debut with ‘Marks The Spot’ to the compilation.

“When Disposable America asked if we wanted to be included on the compilation it was a no brainer,” say Pet Grief of their contribution. “There are some really ace bands on there, and it’s for a brilliant cause.

“Marks The Spot’ is also first song we’ve released. We used to joke that we’d never record anything but it turns out it’s pretty hard to book gigs when nobody knows what you sound like. Come see us on tour in September with The New Tusk, you’ll probably have loads of fun.”

’Special Interest’ is released on July 15th, and is available to pre-order now via Bandcamp. Further information about the Pulse Tragedy Relief Fund can be found here.
