It’s very rarely spoken about. For those with a clear and typical educational path, the months after graduating from university can be dark. For the first time in a young person’s life, there is no set plan. The world becomes their oyster, and for many, the oyster is downright scary. It’s a feeling shared by Hampshire trio Kilkovec, who tackle the issues on new track, ‘Just Get Better’.
“The past year, having a new perspective on life has been on my mind a lot. This song is where it all begins in our song writing, with a very original subject of moving back to my hometown and trying to figure out where I go from here. I’ve only recently come out of education and I’m left with a real ‘Now what?’ feeling, this song tackles those feelings and sets a new future for the band.”
“We’ve recently started working on a new record and we’re aiming for a less negative approach this time, compared with ’Sick of This’,” the band explain.
