Camcorder Unveil Video for ‘Space’

By Ashwin Bhandari

Punktastic are proud to support Camcorder’s latest track ‘Space’, animated by Alec Hugill. The Woking-based alt-rock outfit will release their upcoming record ‘Suck!’ on April 9, digitally via Further Sky Records and a limited tape run by Weather Girl Records.

The video itself is reminiscent of early internet flash animated cartoons from the likes of David Firth and Felix Colgrave; unsettling but still tantalising to watch.

“Suck!’ was recorded in July and November 2017 with Bob Cooper, at Crooked Rain Studios in Leeds”, the band explain. “It is our second release and first full-length record, following on from 2015’s Manifest Misery.  Whilst stylistically not being a huge departure from the first record, the songwriting is tighter, the sound rawer and the guitars even bigger, continuing the emphasis on inner-angst combined with upbeat, bop-driven alternative rock.”
