What’s The Story Mourning Glory

By Andy

Vagrant Recording artists The Alkaline Trio have just finished their new
record, ‘Good Mourning’, slated for a May 13th release.

Produced by Joe McGrath (blink 182, RL Burnside) and co-produced/mixed by Jerry Finn (blink 182, Green Day, Bad Religion), ‘Good Mourning’ was tracked at Studio #3, Cello Studios, Los Angeles, where the Beach Boys recorded Pet Sounds. Black Flag/Circle Jerks vocalist Keith Morris makes a guest vocal
appearance on one track, We¹ve Had Enough.

Guitarist/vocalist Matt Skiba says, “This record required a lot of time and the patience but Jerry and Joe made it all easier and we came back with the record we’ve always wanted to make.” Skiba adds, “The original punk stuff like The Damned and Ramones had a huge influence on this record, they’ve always been our faves but it intentionally comes through this time.”

The Alkaline Trio‘s previous disc, “From Here To Infirmary” sold over
100,000 copies and the band headlined extensively, as well as two tours with Blink 182, and the main stage on the WARPED tour.

We can reveal the tracklisting too!
