Weezer work with Crazy Town!

By paul

I thought Rivers Cuomo had gone mad, but I think this is all the proof we need! Because the Weezer frontman has collaborated with US ‘rockers’ Crazy Town on a track on their forthcoming new record. Apparently Rivers contributes a guitar solo to one of the songs…

In other Weezer news it would appear that the camp has been extremely busy of late, with lots of updates to bring you. MTV have recorded a special ‘Making The Video’ programme for the new single ‘Keep Fishin’, starring the cast of The Muppets, so keep an eye out for that this summer.

A new Weezer EP is expected to hit stores in late August with a new version of ‘Keep Fishin’ the lead track. A selection of live songs recorded on their Japanese tour are expected to act as b-sides. No titles have been confirmed.

Work on the new Weezer DVD is continuing, although details are still very, very sketchy. No release date has been announced, but look for it late 2002/early 2003, and expect the usual videos/live action combo.

Finally the band have been working on songs for album number 5, and tentative titles include ‘Mad Kow’, ‘Running Man’, ‘Little Songs’, ‘Lullaby’, ‘He Who Is Militant’, ‘The Organ Player’, ‘Prodigy Lover’, ‘Hey Domingo!’ and ‘Mansion of Cardboard’.
