Featuring Sean Huber of Modern Baseball and Will Lindsay of WC Lindsay, punk duo Vicky Speedboat have unveiled their new track ‘Weathering Bell’.
The track, premiered via Substream Magazine, will appear on their ‘Two Years No Basement’ EP, due on the 27th November.
“This band was something that was always supposed to happen. We had talked about it for years, sometimes serious, sometimes late at night in half-jest. But it was when we found ourselves traveling through different countries, slumming it with new friends and strangers, sleeping in a backwards rental car driving on the wrong side of the road, and wandering aimlessly for hours in strange places that we decided now was the time,” Huber tells Substream.
“The spontaneity and sometimes sketchiness of these experiences inspired the music, and all we needed to do was get in a room together and make it happen.”
Vicky Speedboat are also sharing ‘Passing Through Wales’ on their BandCamp, to appear on the same EP.
