Punktastic has received word that a whole host of Vagrant Records bands have been approached to play this years Carling Festival in August.
In an email from a usually reliable source, it claimed that The Get Up Kids, Saves The Day, Alkaline Trio, Hot Rod Circuit and Face To Face will all play the festival at both its Reading and Leeds sites, on August 24-26.
At this current time this is yet to be confirmed by any of the bands themselves, but in a separate news item, German site www.wasteofmind.de reports that GUK, Alkaline Trio and Saves The Day are playing the Bizarre Festival in Germany between August 16-18 alongside the likes of Thursday and Sick Of It All.
With the dates of both festivals so close, it does appear that these rumours could be true. However, we reiterate that at this stage, the bands are yet to be confirmed to play.
