Following their comeback single, ‘Blood On The Sand’, Thrice are streaming the second track from their forthcoming ninth studio album, ‘To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere’.
Long-time fans might recognise Dustin Kensrue’s darker vocals from their ‘Earth’ themed quarter of ‘The Alchemy Index’. It sees Thrice at their angriest in some time.
Speaking to NPR of the track, one of the first the band wrote after reforming, vocalist Kensrue notes, “lyrically the song spawned from an image that popped into my head: someone continually swatting at a swarm of bees to get their honey, but somehow not understanding why they would sting back in return.”
