Heavily hairsprayed Metalcore bunch The Defiled have made it into the 2016 Guiness Book of Records. The band performed on a floating iceberg in the Greenland sea and the stunt has led to the inclusion. A quote on the event from kkeyboardist The AvD (if that is indeed his real name):
‘Breaking Records certainly makes an interesting change from making them. As a child this was a book of wonder and excitement, so it’s pretty mindblowing to open this book and see myself and my bandmates looking back at me.’
