Summerslam 88 stream new EP, launch cassette preorders

By Tom Aylott

Brighton’s Summerslam 88 played our stage at Southsea Fest this year. It was largely a blur of beach shorts and all over print shirts from frontman Luke (formerly of Once Over).

The band, that also features Mark Packham of Random Heroes fame, have now unleashed their brand new EP, ‘Big Trouble In BN1’, streaming the thing in full ahead of a cassette release.

The band draw from UK punks like Pacer, sound a little like they used to listen to The Offspring in the mid nineties and are basically loads of fun, so have a listen to the EP using the player below and get one of the ‘Takeout’ bundles or T-Shirts while you’re at it!

The band are doing a launch show for the EP at The Hope in Brighton on November 08. Details for that right here: http://www.facebook.com/events/1402977593269146/
