As Hopeless Records continuing their signing spree, veteran pop-punks Sum 41 are the latest act to join the ranks. Now in their 20th year, the band are gearing up for the release of their follow-up to 2011’s ‘Screaming Bloody Murder’.
“It’s crazy to think that we started this band 20 years ago and so much has happened, and it all happened really fast,” Sum 41’s Deryck Whibley says. “When I look back at everything it still feels like it’s all so recent. I think this a good thing because it still feels like there is still so much to do… which is why I am excited for a new album and to be releasing it with Hopeless Records.”
Having headlined Groezrock earlier this month, Sum 41 are now preparing for a stint on the US Vans Warped Tour, kicking off on the 22nd June in Anchorage (Road to Warped) and lasting until the 7th August in Pomona.
