SMRTDEATH signs to Epitaph Records and releases new track ‘Back With Me’

By Punktastic

Making a name for himself through his genre-bending emo/rap, SMRTDEATH (aka Mike Skwark) has signed to Epitaph Records ahead of the release of new track ‘Back With Me’, a hook laden and 808-fuelled emo-rap anthem about missing a relationship despite its toxicity.

About signing to Epitaph, SMRTDEATH has to say:

“Signing to Epitaph is super exciting for me, many of my favorite past and current bands have signed there and it’s really cool to feel kind of validated by that world. They’ve given me the freedom to do whatever I want which is super rare and I love that for my creativity.”
