Slowdive announce first album in 22 years

Slowdive have confirmed the release of their first album in 22 years.

The self titled album is due out on May 5th via Dead Oceans, and to coincide with the announcement the band have unveiled a new single, ‘Sugar For The Pill’. It follows on from ‘Star Roving’ which was released earlier this year.

The band have announced a surprise show at The Garage in London, which you can get tickets for at 1pm, here. Slowdive will also be appearing at this year’s Field Day festival on June 3rd at Victoria Park, London.
