Slow Coming Day grab new drummer

By paul

Californian emo crew Slow Coming Day have brought in a new drummer after their old one got married, bassist Ryan McIntosh told Punktastic.

In an interview with the rising indie-rock band, Ryan told us that their old drummer Matt had left the band so he could get married.

Ryan said: “It is not as bad as you think. Matt is an incredible drummer but when marriage is calling your name, it is really hard to be married and play in a band that isnt establish yet. Now if we were a big big band, then playing in a band is your main source of income.

“Money issues aren’t as much as a worry any more. Jason Sheets coming into the band has really added a lot to our
music. He has been teaching drum lessons for quite some time and that shows in the music that is played today.

“So we thank Matt for getting us to where we are now and congratulate Jason on coming into the band and taking us
into the future.”

A full interview with Slow Coming Day will appear on Punktastic very soon. In the meantime check out www.slowcomingday.com and www.mp3.com/slowcomingday for everything you need to know about the band.
