Silver Snakes reveal new track and album details

Silver Snakes have revealed details of their new album and are streaming a new track, following their signing to Coheed and Cambria front man Claudio Sanchez’s stateside label, Evil Ink Records.

The four-piece will be releasing their third full-length, ‘Saboteur’, on the 12th February. It will be released through Pelagic Records in Europe.

“‘Saboteur’ is a record summed up by its title. It’s about sabotage, it’s about using direct action to accomplish a goal,” vocalist Alex Estrada explains. β€œIt can be applied to many situations: Personal, Political etc. It’s about having the passion to do absolutely whatever it takes to make a point even if it’s potentially harmful.”

In anticipation of the release, Silver Snakes are streaming new track, ‘Raindance’.

β€œ’Raindance’ was one of the first songs written for the record,” Estrada adds. “It’s the follow up track to a song we previously released called ‘Sundance’ which was about being caught up in abusive relationships. ‘Raindance’ is about taking the plunge into new endeavors only to have voices from the past show up to steer you elsewhere. It’s the balance between sides, the person being torn down and the voice of negativity all speaking at once.”

Silver Snakes will tour alongside Coheed and Cambria and Glassjaw across the states in February and March 2016. ‘Saboteur’ is available to pre-order now.
