Sex Pistols WON’T headline Decon

Punktastic can exclusively confirm that the Sex Pistols will NOT be playing this years Deconstruction Festival.

After several internet rumours linking the Jubilee and Deconstruction date, with “special add-ons”, Punktastic can confirm that John Lydon and co will not be at Finsbury Park on June 3.

In an email from Dave at Destiny Tourbookings, he confirmed that the Pistols had been approached, but priced themselves out of any headlining slot.

When asked if they were playing Dave said: “I did ask them it being the Queens 50th and all i thought that would be a great laugh but when i heard what they where asking for the humor faded.

“We would of had to triple the ticket price to afford them. So no!”

Punktastic will also be conducting an interview with Dave as soon as the line-up is officially announced, and this will hopefully clear up a lot of rumours.

The real headliners are still to be announced. But it isn’t Green Day or Blink 182, after Dave confirmed this yesterday.
