“Mammoth Records recording artists SCHATZI have announced a string of dates with The Promise Ring beginning March 11th in Iowa City, IA. The tour includes a special SXSW showcase in the band’s hometown of Austin, TX on March 12 at Emo’s.

In addition to the Promise Ring dates, the band will play select solo dates throughout February. In late March, look for SCHATZI to make their way out to the west coast with Garrison and Pop Unknown.
SCHATZI’s debut full-length, Fifty Reasons to Explode, will be released on March 19. The band is currently featured in [US mag] Alternative Press’ special “100 Bands You Need To Know in 2002″ currently on sale.”
