Racetraitor return with new EP, ‘By The Time I Get To Pennsylvania’

By Glen Bushell

Racetraitor have returned with their first music since 1999 with their new EP, ‘By The Time I Get To Pennsylvania’.

“The 2016 election has been a parade of jingoism and xenophobia,” wrote the band on their Facebook. “We consider it a call to action. ‘By the Time I Get to Pennsylvania’ is our small way of voicing disgust at what is going on.”

As well as the title track, the EP also features another new track, ‘Damaged’, which marks their first recordings since their split with Burn It Down, ‘Make Them Talk’.

The Chicago-based hardcore band, whose members went on to play in Fall Out Boy, Arma Angelus, Creation Is Crucifixion, Sect, and more, will also play a reunion show on October 22nd at The Cobra Lounge in Chicago, Il.
