Protest The Hero release deluxe edition of ‘Pacific Myth’

By James Davenport

Canadian rockers Protest The Hero have announced the release of a deluxe edition release of their EP ‘Pacific Myth’. The songs on the EP were originally released on a one-per-month basis via a Bandcamp subscription, starting back in the autumn of 2015. The tracks have been re-mixed and re-mastered, and sensitively corralled into a single package, complete with lyrics, gatefold sleeve and and a poster of the striking cover artwork (a series of paintings by surrealist Jeff Jordan, who delivered the visuals for the PTH album, ‘Volition’ and has also worked with The Mars Volta).

The EP was produced and engineered by the band and features guest vocals by Michael Ciccia (Mandroid Echostar), plus strings composed, arranged and performed by Milen Petzelt-Sorace (The Frame Defect).

‘Pacific Myth’ is available via Bandcamp with physical releases being handled by Spinefarm Records.
