Pretend Happy call it a day

By Ben Tipple

Although not officially breaking up, Pretend Happy have announced their indefinite hiatus. Set to play their final show on Thursday at the Bideford Palladium Club with One Man Boycott, the news comes after a recent high profile support slot for Moose Blood in Kingston.

One of our ‘Ones To Watch in 2016‘ and part of our ’50 UK Releases From 2016 To Be Proud Of‘ series, the band released the excellent ‘Tired Eyes‘ LP at the very start of the year. Marking a sudden end to a promising career, the band burned brightly in their short time.

We wish all the members best of luck in their future endeavours.
