Permanent Record stream new album in full

By Ben Tipple

Permanent Record, the new solo project by Dave House of Pacer and Dave House, is streaming his debut-of-sorts full-length, ‘Everyone Is Happy Now’.

“It’s been 7 years since my last solo album and so much has changed for me, both personally and musically,” House told us when announcing the record. “With this album I felt the need to start afresh with a new name and approach to songwriting.”

“‘Everyone Is Happy Now’ is the most varied record I’ve made, there are a few tracks that wouldn’t be out of place on [his previous solo album] ‘Intersections’ but on the whole I think it builds upon everything I’ve made in the last 15 years,” he added. “It’s also the first record I’ve made entirely alone, both playing and producing.”

‘Everyone Is Happy Now’ is a stunning collection of ten new tracks that blend his punk background with the likes of Death Cab For Cutie. Stream and buy it now via BandCamp using the player below:
