New Found Glory to headline Euro tour?

By paul

There are strong rumours flying around Planet Punk that New Found Glory have been lined up to headline this years Deconstruction Festival in Europe.

On top of this, it appears The Movielife are also set to play the festival.

The rumours were sparked after The Movielife announced at their Birmingham gig last week that they were in negotiations with Decon chiefs to play the tour. It was also suggested by them that NFG would play.

Both bands have confirmed they are returning to the UK in May, with NFG guitarist Chad Gilbert telling a packed Nottingham Rock City crowd in December that the band would be back then.

With the tour almost certainly pencilled in for late May, it could well be that these whispers are fact.

Already confirmed for the tour are No Use For A Name, Randy and the Turbo AC’s. It is also mooted that the Mighty Mighty Bosstones will play.

Further information will be posted when the final bill is announced in the next week or so.
