Molly flog their new record

Wowsers! Those Celtic chaps in Flogging Molly are busy beavers at the moment, and with St Patrick’s Day on its way, there’s only one way to celebrate it…down the pub.

But before they go, the band told us about what they’re up to in the next couple of months.

“It’s that time of year again, St. Patrick’s Day is upon us and we’ve decided to turn one day of holy debauchery into a six-week celebration.

“Our newest release comes out March 19, we begin our 2nd ever headline tour of the US & Canada right here in Los Angeles on March 14, we’ve got
some in-store performances scheduled and a few live radio broadcasts as well, to round out the festivities. Also, keep a weather eye open as we make our first journey to Europe in late May as part of the Deconstruction Tour.

“Since the end of our last tour, we’ve been hard at work finishing up our newest SideOneDummy release entitled ‘DRUNKEN LULLABIES’. Like ‘SWAGGER’, it was recorded and engineered by Steve Albini in his Electrical Audio Studios in Chicago, but this time around we added some new faces to the team: Ted Hutt & Patrick Shevlin mixed and engineered at EMG Studios in Los Angeles, Ted Hutt co-produced with the band and Robert Vosgien did the mastering at Capitol Records in Hollywood.

“You can get a look and a taste
of the new CD by checking out the SideOneDummy e-card at

“Ah, the ‘Drunken Lullabies Tour’. Many of you have seen Flogging Molly on the Warped Tour or as an opener for great bands like The Mighty, Mighty
Bosstones, The Bouncing Souls, Anti-Flag or The Living End, but most of you have never had the complete Flogging Molly experience… your time has
come.

“We’re fortunate to have the opportunity to play some new songs and deliver our full-strength show to the people who keep us honest, our fans. Most of the shows are all ages (some are not) and we suspect many will sell out, so get your tickets early. Many times you can avoid the surcharges by purchasing from the venue directly. Per usual, no cameras,
recording devices, etc, blah, blah are permitted inside the club. We also suggest you get a good night’s sleep the day before; you’ll probably need it. If you don’t see your city or area listed, please be patient, as new shows are being added daily.

“Thanks for listening, be safe, enjoy the music and we look forward to seeing all of you somewhere soon…

Slainte!
Flogging Molly.”
