LTJ sign to Warners

It’s been rumoured on every punk site across the web, but now the band have finally confirmed. Less Than Jake have signed to Warner Bros.

Straight from the band’s maling list, they write: “It’s been huge news in the world of LTJ this week. First off, we’re proud to have just signed a contract with Warner Bros in the US.

“People may be scratching their heads asking why we would be going back on a major. The answer is simple. Our friend of over 7 years started working there and he hooked us up with a meeting with the president of Warner. We talked about how we are as people and as a band and we all saw eye to eye on the future of LTJ.

“Thanx to both Craig and Tom for being honest and making all this generally quick and painless. We here at LTJ EURO HQ would like to give all the people at Fat Wreck Chords a big thanx and a hug for treating us amazing. In the future we still intend on doing a live record, EP’s, etc. with them because fucking Fat Wreck rules.”

Rumours abound that the new record will be named ‘Anthem’ and will be released in 2003… so keep your eyes peeled.

Whilst on the subject of Warner Bros, look out for a review of the new Glassjaw cd coming your way very soon…
