Punktastic recently received news that Lobster records is proud to have signed Virginia born quartet Over it:-

Vocals and Guitar – Peter Munters
Guitar and Vocals – Nick Bailey
Bass and Vocals – Seth Watts
Drums – James Ulrich

Over It lives in Alexandria, VA, all friends from before high school. They bring the awesome power of a united force propelling music as a true emotion. Over It songs are punk renditions of the cycle of loss and gain. It is an aggressive sound with strong drums, fluid guitar, moving bass and the voice of youth. What they reflect is the experience and dreams of every kid for their own life.
In 1998, while in high school, Over It became a band, entered the recording studio to create a six song demo and saw this demo released in 1999 as an EP, “Over It“, on Negative Progression Records. They toured for a year to many places, at year’s end Over It again began the recording process. The result of that session was their debut full length album “The Ready Series”, released on Negative Progression Records in the Summer of 2000 to garner excellent reviews and world wide interest. Songs from “The Ready Series” already appear on dozens of compilations and soundtracks. Over It supported this album with two full US tours.
By February of 2001, Over It had new songs crying to be presented so they booked studio time and created their most recent EP, “Hindsight 20/20”, released by Negative Progression Records in the fall of 2001. Their sound here is larger and takes in the road and days of constant playing, each song with a built in sense of freedom and open spaces.
On their travels, Over It met Lobster Records, the label and band recognized themselves in each other. Over It signed with Lobster in December of 2001, the band will release a full length CD in the Spring of 2002. They have a new booking agent and a plan to play anytime, anywhere, anyhow you want Over It.

Punktastic wishes the band every success at Lobster..
