LIGHTYEAR are to re-issue and release their back catalogue and some extra rarities.
They aren’t reforming though, contrary to what would makes things right with the world –
Here’s a statement from the band:
“Okey Dokey everyone. Quite overwhelmed at the response. Really realised how many cool people we met over the years. So…We are now going to re-release call of the Weasel clan, Chris Gentleman’s hairdresser’s and Railway bookshop and rare recording’s including the BBC Meadvale recordings by ourselves. SOOOO we are printing i think 250 of each Viynl or we might do one record with everything on with an ep coming out as a little baby out of the records stomach. Well that’s the idea anyway. ANNDD then in the new year we wil finally have the Lightyear dvd finished. This will be old footage of live shows, Sillyness and bits and bobs. So sorry if that’s a bit of a let down but that’s it for now. And remember Bars‘s mum has a MASSIVE CLITORIS.”
