King Woman sign to Relapse Records and announce debut album

By Glen Bushell

King Woman have announced they have joined the expanding roster of Relapse Records.

The band is fronted by Kristina Esfandiari, who also performs as Miserable, and they released their critically-acclaimed ‘Doubt’ EP last year. They will follow it with their debut album on Relapse Records next year, titled ‘Created In The Image of Suffering.’

The album was recorded at Atomic Garden by Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Wreck and Reference), and is due for a Spring 2017 release. β€œIt feels surreal to release our first full-length through such a respectable label with a vast roster we respect so much,” said Esfandiari of the signing.

We will keep you updated on ‘Created In The Image of Suffering’ as news comes in, but for now, refresh your memory of the stunning ‘Doubt’ EP below.
