On April 1 the Boston punk band American Nightmare was issued with a cease and desist order from the Philadelphia bar/pub band with the same name. The Boston band was threatened with a $50,000 lawsuit seeking damages for
infringement of the Philadelphia band’s live entertainment US Trademark.
After seven months of trying to work out a deal with the band, the Boston band has officially changed their name to American Nothing. AmericanNothing.com will have a full explanation of the case and the outcome very soon.
