Into It. Over It. stream ‘No EQ’ and reveals album release details

By Ben Tipple

For his new record, ‘Standards’, Evan Weiss – the creative mind behind Into It. Over It. – has been playing with isolation. Like Bon Iver before him, Weiss journeyed off to the far and of nowhere alongside songwriter and band member Joshua David Sparks to draw inspiration for the follow up to 2013’s excellent ‘Intersections’. In an interview with Noisey, Weiss explains how it was important for him to separate his daily life from the writing and recording process, something that hindered the creative process behind ‘Intersections’.

The result, ‘Standards’, will be available from the 11th March via Triple Crown Records, and promises to be one borne out of eclectic influence and taste. Although it is the first Into It. Over It. record since 2013, Weiss has been busy further honing his skills with Pet Symmetry and Their / They’re / There.

Into It. Over It.’s newest track, ‘No EQ’, also premiered via Noisey and is available to stream below.

The band will be embarking on a pretty amazing US tour, featuring The World Is A Beautiful Place and I Am No Longer Afraid To Die, The Sidekicks and Pinegrove.
