Grimsby – centre of UK punk scene

By paul

OK, I’m completely taking the piss with the title, because clearly it isn’t. But, if like me, you live in this hell-hole, you may be pleased to know that there are a couple of punk gigs heading this way.

Having recently hosted Capdown, there are two further dates for your diary.

On Thursday, April 18, 4ft Fingers and Caffeine will hit the region, with Siknotes, Tomorrow Never Came and Other Side Of Faith in tow. The gig will be held at the Cleethorpes Beachcomber, will kick off at 7.30pm and tickets are £5.

Then on Tuesday, April 23, Welsh emo-sters Douglas will perform, with Stapleton and Left To Yesterday in support. Tickets are just £4.50 and the first band are on at 7.30pm.

So if you live in the area get your asses down to the gigs in the hope that these things may come up a bit more frequently. And you may even see me there, if I can find someone to go with me 🙁
