Goldfinger gig off?

By paul

Ska punkers Goldfinger may now not be visiting the UK in May after all, as a mystery seems to be unravelling.

On Friday we published a news story stating that the band were set to play a gig at the London Forum on May 13, and that tickets were on sale at all major internet sales outlets.

But Goldfinger‘s webmaster Brad contacted us to let us know that the band themselves were unaware of any such gig.

Infact they were completely bemused at the news, stating that they weren’t due to come over to the UK until later in the year.

Despite this, tickets are still being sold for the phantom gig and at time of writing, the venue could not be contacted for comment.

We will continue to keep you in touch with developments, but would advise fans to beware before they go buying tickets for the gig which may, or may not, happen.
