The Get Up Kids are to play a one-off UK show at the London Astoria on August 27.
Despite rumours to the contrary in the mainstream press, the band are still playing at the Carling Festival and the gig follows on from the Kansas crew’s appearance at Reading and Leeds on August 24 and 25.
Their new record, ‘On A Wire’, is out now.
