Fletcher say sorry!

By paul

After being forced to pull out of the Leeds and Stoke gigs later this week, those top boys in Fletcher stopped off in our forums to apologise. Olly said: “We are REALLY sorry, and gutted we had to pull the 2 shows. There’s no big secret as to why we had to pull them. The simple fact is that as a band, we all have full time jobs. So far this year we’ve done 2 tours already, the Punktastic tour will be our 3rd. You can work out that that doesn’t leave us many days leave left for touring, and half the band were refused time off work to play these 2 shows at pretty short notice. Unfortunately we’re not in a position to quit our jobs over it – one day hopefully we will be! As to the Movielife show, Jerry Built and Route 215 (who are our mates) were chuffed for us to do that show. Anyway, once again, sorry for having to pull the shows at such short notice, we are genuinely gutted – I for one was really looking forwards to the Leeds show. So, here’s to the rest of the tour….”
And bandmate Lee added: “Just wanted to reiterate what Olly has said about being gutted we’ve had to pull these two shows, it really pisses us off when shit like this happens because we don’t like letting people down but I’m sure you can appreciate that keeping your job so you can pay the rent is a pretty high fucking priority for anyone. I’d like to thank Paul and the Punktastic team for the effort they’ve put into organising these shows and hopefully we’ll be able to get to Leeds and Stoke as soon as possible. Once again, a big SORRY!! from the Fletcher crew.”
Punktastic just wants to say cheers to the boys for taking the time to explain, and everyone get down to Leicester on Sunday to see them re-join the tour!
